Housing Choice Voucher Assistance

The Housing Choice Voucher Assistance Program helps low-income families by providing rental assistance in the private market through the Section 8 Program. Voucher holders can select a unit from the private rental market and receive assistance that makes housing affordable. Typically, participants pay between 30-40% of their monthly adjusted income towards rent and utilities, while the Housing Assistance Payment subsidizes the balance.

For inquiries or to be placed on the waiting list, please contact us at (570) 942-6155.
